Acceptance of applications for participation in the "Innovative University and Leadership" project has begun

Representatives of academic communities of higher education institutions are invited to participate in the project "Innovative University and Leadership. Phase VI: Models of Academic Autonomy and the University in a Lifelong Education System". The goal of the project is to train academic leaders. Applications for participation in the project are accepted until July 20.

Acceptance of applications for participation in the "Innovative University and Leadership" project has begun

The International Charitable Foundation "International Educational Policy Research Fund" and the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine invite representatives of academic communities of higher education institutions to take part in the project "Innovative University and Leadership. Phase VI: Models of Academic Autonomy and the University in a Lifelong Education System".

Applications for participation in the project are accepted until July 20, 2022 at the email address: ifepr2022@gmail.com.

The main idea of ​​the project is to identify potential leaders of change in Ukrainian universities, who are in the positions of heads of academic and administrative units, scientific and pedagogical staff as well as are ready to take responsibility for the modernization of Ukrainian higher education soon. The goal of the project is to train academic leaders who are willing and able to contribute to the introduction of modern models of academic autonomy into Ukrainian higher education, focused on studying the Polish experience of building university development programs in the "life long leaning" system. Training in Ukraine and Poland, preparation and implementation of relevant individual micro-projects are also envisaged.

The co-organizers of the project are the University of Warsaw, the Jagiellonian University, the Artes Liberales Institute Foundation, the International Charitable Foundation "International Educational Policy Research Fund", and the Union of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine.

The project has been taking place since 2014 with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Poland, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and under the honorary patronage of the Foundation of Polish Rectors – Institute of Knowledge Society.
