From 15 to 17 November 2024, the MSAC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 took place in Wrocław, Poland. The event was attended by 275 athletes from 17 countries – Poland, Kyrgyzstan, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Lithuania, Germany, Ukraine, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Latvia and Ireland – who competed for the championship among adults, juniors, boys and children.
Participants of the MSAC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 showcased their physical prowess in all-style combat techniques (mastery of striking and throwing techniques using elements of wrestling, boxing and martial arts – karate, etc.) in six versions: B-1 – light contact, B-2 – dosed contact, B-3 and B-4 – full contact (without and with kicks with knees and elbows to the body), except for girls and women, B-5 – demonstration of self-defence techniques, B-6 – demonstration of formal technical complexes, and shooting with air weapons (rifle or pistol).
The Head of Sports Club of Poltava Polytechnic, Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class Nikita Solovei performed well in the age group 18-39 and weight category up to 70 kg.
The athlete of Poltava Polytechnic won 2 gold medals (B-1 and B-5 versions), 2 silver medals (B-2 and B-6 versions) and 1 bronze medal (B-3 version) in the All-style combat section. The winner’s coach is Honoured Coach of Ukraine, Master of Sports of Ukraine in military and sports all-round Oleh Barysh.
In total, the Ukrainian national team won 161 medals during the competition: 63 gold, 59 silver and 39 bronze medals; adults: 63 medals: 26 gold, 22 silver and 15 bronze medals; youth, juniors: 34 medals: 10 gold, 17 silver and 7 bronze medals; boys: 64 medals: 27 gold, 20 silver and 17 bronze medals.
In the overall team standings, the top three were:
- I place – the team of Ukraine;
- II place – the team of Poland;
- III place – the team of Germany.

During the MSAC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2024, an International Instructors’ Seminar was held as well, where representatives of different countries were able to receive prestigious International Instructor Certificates.
Furthermore, during the event, Volodymyr Levin was re-elected as President of the Public Union “International Organization of Military and Sports All-round Competitions” and the organisation’s Board was also re-elected for a new term.
Recently, a Poltava Polytechnic student won a silver medal at the European Championship in Thai Boxing.
