Dear friends, I congratulate you on an important national holiday – the Constitution Day of Ukraine!
The Fundamental Law, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 1996, establishes the legal principles of our state, its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the highest social values in Ukraine – human, their life and health, honour and dignity, inviolability and security.
In the conditions of a full-scale invasion and active hostilities on the territory of our country, the historical and social significance of the provisions set forth in the Constitution is growing, every Ukrainian, regardless of age, gender, social status, has become a participant in the struggle of our people for their own independence, inviolability and irrevocability of the rights enshrined in our country’s Fundamental Law.
Our joint indomitability continues to surprise the civilized European world, for us the Constitution was, is and remains a deeply national norm, the observance of which we take care in our daily professional activities, whose inviolability is being fought for on the front lines by thousands of courageous defenders of Ukraine!
We are sincerely grateful to our Armed Forces for the opportunity to celebrate one of the main public holidays of our country in our homes with the people closest to our hearts and to be proud of our national belonging to the most peace-loving people in the world!
