On July 25, 2022, distance learning under the "Google Digital Tools for Education" program from the Ministry of Education and Science and Google Ukraine will begin for educators of preschool, general secondary, out-of-school, professional (vocational-technical), professional pre-higher and higher education institutions.
The program provides for 12 identical cycles of free educational courses and trainings, each of which starts work monthly from July 2022 to June 2023. Registration is open at the link.
The course contains 5 modules (30 hours – 1 ECTS credit). Each module consists of video lectures, practical tasks and a final test.
Participants will receive tasks in the secure virtual space of Google Classes. A recording of the lecture will be published for each topic, and an additional consultation will be held in Google Meet, during which each participant will have the opportunity to ask questions to the coach and demonstrate a screen to solve a problem situation.
Teaching will be carried out sequentially:
- basic level – for participants who want to learn how to work with mobile devices;
- intermediate level – for participants who want to understand the installed Google Chrome web browser;
- advanced level – for participants who want to learn how to work with Chromebook laptops.
Educational institutions, whose teaching staff successfully complete their training under the program with an indicator above 50% of the total number of employees, will receive a special status "Educational institution – a participant of the Google for Education program" during the year. According to the results of the program, it is also envisaged to recognize the most active institutions.
