Euroclub of Poltava Polytechnic is among the winners of the project competition from the EU Delegation to Ukraine!

From December to 1 February 2025, all interested Euroclubs in Ukraine had the opportunity to apply for participation in the EU Delegation’s Euroclubs 2025 project competition, which resulted in 31 Euroclubs that offered the best project ideas receiving consulting, organisational and financial support to implement their ideas. In addition, the winners of the competition and project partners will take part in training webinars from the EU Delegation to Ukraine.

Euroclub “NEW STAR” of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” became one of the winners of the competition.

The coordinators of Euroclub “NEW STAR”, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations and Tourism Iryna Chychkalo-Kondratska and PhD, Associate Professor, Associate Head of the Department of International Economic Relations and Tourism Iryna Levchenko, together with the students, submitted a project called “Spring in Europe: Exploring EU Countries Together!”.

The idea of the project is to improve the knowledge of schoolchildren, students and teachers about the specifics of the EU, the priority areas of European policy and EU cooperation with Ukraine, as well as to introduce the target audience to each EU country and the main applicants for accession using various events and tools to present the countries.

The competition was peculiar in that the participants had to involve at least 3 Euroclubs from any region of Ukraine and representatives of other EU Networks – coordinators of EU Information Centres, experts from Team Europe Ukraine – in the partnership, and also take into account the priority areas of activity of the EU Delegation to Ukraine.

In 2025, 54 applications from new and experienced Euroclubs were submitted to the competition. The EU Delegation to Ukraine supported 31 winning projects with the most relevant initiatives for children and youth. In particular, 9 of the winning projects were prepared by newly created Euroclubs, including the Euroclub of Poltava Polytechnic “NEW STAR”. We congratulate the coordinators and members of the club.

Recently, the members of Euroclub “NEW STAR” discussed the celebration of the International Women’s Day in Europe and Ukraine.
