The graduation ceremony was held at a few different locations in order to create safe conditions and follow the recommended lockdown rules.
Almost 800 Master's degree students graduated National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” in the year of its jubilee. 156 of them received diplomas with distinction for excellent results in studying. According to Rector, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko, the increase of the number of successful graduates is a good proof of effective coordinated work and strong professional competence of the university scientific and pedagogical staff.

“You had to face complications on your way; university has changed its name and type over the years of your studying, transforming from a technical higher education institution to a classical university of European level. And you were able to successfully graduate during the lockdown caused by the world pandemic of COVID-19, and to receive awards for excellent results and scientific achievements. I am sure that the knowledge you received at our university will help you find your path in the adult life and career! I am thankful to the teachers who made everything that was in their power during the lockdown so that you got high-quality European education and successfully defended your graduation theses.

Diplomas with distinction were given to the graduates of Education and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management, Education and Research Institute of Oil and Gas, Education and Research Institute of Architecture, Construction and Land Management, Education and Research Institute of Information Technology and Mechanotronics, Faculty of Humanities and the youngest structural subdivision of our university, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. The graduates were also awarded for excellent results in studying and science, achievements in research and sport, and for active participation in social life.
An emotional speech on behalf of the friendly family of graduates of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was delivered by graduate of specialization No. 035 “Philology”, Vice-President of Student Parliament for International Affairs Nelia Bechkalo:
“When I was 12, we visited university during a tour around Poltava with my family once. And I still remember how my father said, “Oh, and this is the best university of Poltava region, Nelia will study here.” Time has flown by, and today I am graduating National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", one of the best, the most progressive and powerful universities of Ukraine. We would like to say thank you to all of our teachers in all the languages of the world, including those we already know and those we will learn, because it is your example that taught us to be good people and great professionals! Last year, the diplomas with distinction were awarded to graduates of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” at the main theater stage of our region.
