Grant competition for projects in the field of “green” energy starts

Public organizations “Ecoclub” and “Ekodia” announce a grant competition to support the activities of local self-government in the implementation of solutions that will lead to sustainable energy in the community. The deadline for receiving applications is May 15, 2024.

Grant competition for projects in the field of “green” energy starts

Selected project participants will be able to:

  • get financial support for projects in the field of “green” energy;
  • increase the level of knowledge about “green” energy;
  • receive mentor support from representatives of the NGO “Ecoclub” during the implementation of the project.

The competition is held for:

  • local self-government bodies (LSGBs);
  • non-profit public organizations (having the status of a legal entity on the territory of the community from which the application will be submitted);
  • consortia that have a legal basis for work.

An approximate but non-exhaustive list of activities:

  • development and implementation of solutions that contribute to the implementation of energy-efficient measures;
  • popularization and deployment of RES;
  • participation in national policies to prevent climate change;
  • strengthening cooperation of LSGBs with the public.

Application deadline: applications will be considered as they are received (on a rolling basis). The deadline is May 15, 2024. The competition may end earlier, provided all funding is spent.

Possible financing amount: up to 10,000 euros in hryvnia equivalent.

Project implementation period: not more than nine calendar months.

The results of the competitive selection will be updated every month on the official website of the Ecoclub until the end of the competition.
