International Virtual Exchange Program “Virtual Voyages”: Open Call for Applications for Poltava Polytechnic Students

National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” invites students to participate in the first virtual exchange within a large-scale international project ERASMUS-EDU-2024-VIRT-EXCH No. 101193593 “Acquiring Transversal Competences through Virtual Voyages” (Virtual Voyages). The project offers unique opportunities to develop transversal skills (soft skills) and strengthen intercultural dialogue in the digital space.

National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” announces an open call for students to participate in the international virtual exchange program within the framework of the project ERASMUS-EDU-2024-VIRT-EXCH No. 101193593 “Acquiring Transversal Competences through Virtual Voyages”. The project aims to develop the personal, professional, and intercultural competencies of higher education students in a digital environment.

Format and Timeline

Implementation period: June – December 2026.

Duration: 10 weeks.

Format: blended (asynchronous self-study + weekly offline and online sessions with international experts).

Workload: at least 7 hours per week (5 hours – offline at the university, 2 hours – online sessions in international groups + asynchronous studying).

Asynchronous component: independent study of educational materials and completion of individual assignments on the thevoyage.eu platform.

Project Goals and Objectives

The project aims to create conditions for inclusive learning and professional orientation through the use of the innovative e-learning platform thevoyage.eu.

Key objectives include:

•        development of transversal skills (soft skills) and digital literacy;

•        formation of career planning skills and lifelong learning strategies;

•        stimulating intercultural dialogue between students from Romania, Italy, Turkey, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Armenia.

The project is coordinated by the «Aurel Vlaicu» University of Arad (Romania) in partnership with:

•        National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic» (Ukraine);

•        Millenium Center;

•        Predict CSD Consulting;

•        IUL Online University;

•        Firat University;

•        Moldova State University;

•        Caucasus University;

•        Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University;

•        Gavar State University.

Recognition of Results and Certification

Participation in the program is free of charge. Upon successful completion of the curriculum, students receive an international certificate – Erasmus+ Youthpass. This document is an official confirmation of the acquisition of transversal competences within Erasmus+ non-formal education programs. It may be considered during the credit transfer of learning outcomes (at the department’s and the dean’s office/directorate’s discretion) and included in the Diploma Supplement.

Coordination

The International Relations Office carries out the selection of participants and coordination of the learning process in cooperation with facilitators from the respective departments.
