On the penultimate day of January, a significant event took place at National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” – a solemn yet restrained Master’s degree awarding ceremony. More than 700 young professionals, who studied under over 100 educational programs, received official confirmation of their qualifications, expertise, and competitiveness in today’s national and international labor markets.
The ceremony began with the sounds of the National Anthem of Ukraine and words of deep gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the courageous defenders who, at the cost of their own lives, fight for the right of Ukrainians to exist as a free nation, to study, and to build their future on a solid intellectual foundation. A minute of silence was observed in memory of the fallen soldiers, including former students, graduates, and staff members of Poltava Polytechnic.

The President of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic,” Volodymyr ONYSHCHENKO, addressed the graduates with congratulations and sincere wishes for professional growth, successful career realization, significant achievements, and continuous self-development. He once again emphasized that Poltava Polytechnic forms the national elite – a cohort of young specialists upon whom the future development and success of the country will depend.

The Rector of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic,” Olena FILONYCH, highlighted the high level of professionalism of the graduates and their strong career prospects, emphasizing the key mission of each graduate – to direct their professional potential toward the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. She also noted the erudition, education, and creativity of the new generation of Master’s graduates.

An honorary guest, university alumnus, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, and commander of a mobile assault group of the 3rd Battalion “Volyn” of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Andrii BOBLIAKH, attended the ceremony to congratulate the graduates. He joined in the well wishes and expressed his strong confidence in the graduates’ professionalism, high level of competence, and promising career prospects.

Special congratulatory remarks were also delivered by university activists: two-time President of the Student Parliament Valerii LEVCHENKO, Deputy Head of the Student Parliament Oleksa SHCHUR-DUNETS, and Head of Student Self-Government Bohdan RAK. For many years, they have contributed to shaping the core of student self-governance at the alma mater, uniting students around shared ideas and goals, and organizing various events and initiatives.

After the official part of the ceremony, following a long-standing tradition, graduates moved the tassels of their caps to the left side, made wishes, tossed their caps high into the air, and took commemorative photos.

Poltava Polytechnic has once again proven that even under the challenging conditions our country is facing, we have a decent new generation of young professionals who will shape a conscious community of ambitious and goal-oriented specialists, actively contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine, and strengthen the authority of Poltava region and Ukraine in the global arena.
We sincerely wish the newly qualified Master’s graduates confidence in their knowledge and abilities, continuous improvement of their skills, recognition of their dedication and hard work throughout their studies, and many new professional achievements and opportunities to realize their full potential.
