At the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, a new educational cycle of the Jean Monnet Module “European Experience of Information Security and Information Protection Systems under Present Large-Scale Cyber-Attacks Conditions” is beginning. The project 101127542 – EEISIPS – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH has been successfully implemented for the third year, confirming the stable interest of students in European cybersecurity practices.
The training will take place from November 17 to December 19, 2025 and will include 80 hours of intensive preparation. This year, two groups will take part in the program: students of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics majoring in F3 Computer Science and F5 Cybersecurity and Information Protection, as well as university students who are internally displaced persons and seek to enhance their digital competence and adapt to modern challenges of cyberspace.
As a result of the training, students will develop such key skills as the ability to analyze cyber threats, assess the resilience of information systems, apply European approaches and international cybersecurity standards, and navigate modern forms of information terrorism and methods of countering it. In addition, learners will be able to critically assess the challenges of the information age and find effective solutions to strengthen digital security.
The lecturers of Poltava Polytechnic who actively implement modern approaches to developing digital literacy and a culture of cyber protection will share their expertise:
- Kseniia Verhal – Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Project Coordinator;
