In 2025, the university rose to 43rd place among 221 Ukrainian higher education institutions in the scientific activity ranking according to the international Scopus database!
Poltava Polytechnic ranks first among Poltava higher education institutions, having surpassed all other universities of Poltava and entered the TOP-50 best universities of Ukraine!
The data of Ukrainian universities ranking according to Scopus 2025 are published on Osvita.ua.
The Scopus ranking is based on the Hirsch index, an indicator that takes into account the number of scientific publications and their citations in reputable international journals. Being included in this list means passing the highest standards of academic integrity, quality and innovation.
The results of Poltava universities in the Scopus-2025 ranking:
– National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” – 43rd place;
– Poltava State Medical University – 57th place;
– Poltava State Agrarian University – 123rd place;
– Poltava University of Economics and Trade – 161st place;
– Poltava National Pedagogical University – 174th.
Poltava Polytechnic is the only university in Poltava that is in the top fifty of the Scopus ranking of Ukraine.
