On November 17-24, 2025, the IFMA European Muaythai Championship – one of the most prestigious global events – took place in Athens, the capital of Greece. The Ukrainian national team demonstrated a high level of preparation, and a significant contribution to the team’s overall result was made by the representative of Poltava Polytechnic – Mykhailo Serdiuk, a student of 501-FS group of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports.

In his very first fight, he confidently defeated an opponent from russia. In the second bout, the Ukrainian athlete left no chance to the representative of Albania, acting extremely professionally. In the final match, he was supposed to meet an opponent from Spain, but the competitor refused to enter the ring.

Thus, based on the results of the competition, Mykhailo Serdiuk earned the title of IFMA European Champion among men.

This victory is not only a personal achievement for the athlete but also evidence of the high quality of training provided by the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
