According to the informational system “Vstup.OSVITA.UA”, which publishes the rating lists of applicants, more than 1,5 million applications were submitted to higher and pre-higher education institutions during the entrance campaign of 2020. In Poltava region, 33,042 applications were submitted in total (the table included all the applications of enrollees for studying at the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree levels in all forms of studying as of August, 26, 2020).
As of now, the call for applications of enrollees to Bachelor’s degree programs basing on the full general secondary education was ended.
National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” became the most popular higher education institution of Poltava region.
The Top-100 list included three higher education institutions from Poltava in the end, as follows: National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” (72nd place, 3,693 applications), Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University (81st place, 3,192 applications), and Poltava State Agrarian Academy (84th place, 3,105 applications).
We would like to remind that National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” became the best higher education institution of Poltava within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine this year, and was listed in the Top-10 best universities of the Central Ukraine. University was also ranked first among the universities of Poltava within the jurisdiction of MES of Ukraine in the 14th annual academic ranking of higher education institutions of Ukraine “Top-200 Ukraine 2020”.
According to the 7th annual higher education institutions ranking U-Multirank, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was recognized as the best in Poltava region. University reached the Top-10 higher education institutions of Ukraine in the nomination “International Orientation”.
Polytechnic also became the only higher education institution of Poltava region to be included in the independent international ranking SCImago. University was ranked 4th in Ukraine, and for the scientific research activity was given the 2nd place among the higher education institutions and scientific establishments of Ukraine.
