On May, 2, during the meeting of the Academic Council of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Head of the North-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labour Service Oleksandr Rozumnyi and Rector of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Doctor of Economics, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
“We have recently held a very important event – a round table dedicated to the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2024. When we adopted the resolution, one of its points was to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the North-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labour Service, which we are now fulfilling.
We have a long-standing, fruitful cooperation, as well as a number of joint, powerful educational and scientific events.
I would like to thank the Head of North-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labour Service Oleksandr Rozumnyi for his appreciation of Poltava Polytechnic and his willingness to continue our cooperation!
Our partnership is fully correlated with the renewed approach of the state body to work. We have many interesting plans for our cooperation!
The issue of life safety and labour protection is the number one issue!” – said the head of the Polytechnic, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
The signed document envisages the main areas of cooperation, namely: participation in the development and implementation of new courses, programmes, exchange of teaching materials, bibliographic and reference literature; joint consultations, research projects and developments on topical issues of economic and social life of the country in the field of education and science, social protection of the population in order to make effective decisions; organisation and provision of free internships for higher education students; taking part in joint projects on education, social issues, scientific research, competitions and other forms of attracted scientific investments; taking part in organising and holding scientific, scientific and practical, scientific and methodological conferences, symposia, congresses, seminars and other scientific events.
“First of all, I would really like to note that the war in Ukraine has made significant adjustments, including in the field of labour protection. Our government agency has changed its approach to work today. First of all, we help organisations and enterprises. Our slogan is to advise, inform, and only then control. This way, we first explain and help organisations, and only then do we check that our advice is implemented.
I thank you, it is a pleasure to be here and sign a memorandum with the best higher education institution of the Poltava region,” – stressed Oleksandr Rozumnyi.
Recently, Poltava Polytechnic signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Regional Youth Centre and renewed the partnership agreement with Odesa National Technological University.
