Election Commission of Students’ Self-Government of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, which included students of various educational and research institutes and faculties, separate structural subdivisions of the university – Poltava College of Oil and Gas, Myrhorod Vocational College named after Mykola Gogol announced the results. Lyudmyla Bilym, a student of the 401-SE group of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas, became the President of the Student Parliament with 73.2% of votes.
The newly elected Members of the Student Parliament are:
- Mariia Zaitseva, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas;
- Nadiia Kobeletska (Semerenko), student of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas;
- Bohdana Kuryliuk, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics;
- Svitlana Levchenko, student of Faculty of Humanities;
- Yuliia Lysenko, student of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports;
- Oleksandr Lytvynenko, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas;
- Viktoriia Marchenko, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law;
- Anastasiia Murashka, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law;
- Andrii Petrov, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Construction and Land Management;
- Yaroslava Pysanka (Kozar), student of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law;
- Artem Sosnin, student of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas.

The new leader of the Student Parliament, Heads of various directions of Students’ Self-Government and newly elected Heads of Student Councils of the university structural subdivisions were solemnly greeted by the rector of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko and Assistant Rector for Youth Policy Ivan Ksenzhuk, who noted the strong synergy of interaction between management, and educators with the Students’ Self-Government of the university; motivated to work together and shared personal stories, memories of unforgettable student life.
“We genuinely believe that student self-government, hard work of your predecessors will serve as a powerful incentive for systematic work on your own development and promotion of the Poltava Polytechnic educational brand among modern youth. With such a young, dedicated team, we will be able to develop our educational institution even more dynamically, cooperate more actively with foreign partner universities and inherit the best European experience in the field of management. We do not stand still; we move forward and take as an example the life stories of people who have already achieved great success. I recall my own student years, full of love for science and sports, new interesting acquaintances and university events. I sincerely share your perseverance and persistence. I am convinced that there are a lot of cool projects, creative ideas and discussions ahead, which will not be hindered by any pandemic or quarantine restrictions. We can easily adapt to any modern challenges, change the format, which will not affect the overall result in any way.

The head of Poltava Polytechnic wholeheartedly thanked for the conscientious work during the previous term of the former President of the Student Parliament – Oleksandr Lytvynenko, who supported and initiated new sports, artistic, scientific, youth initiatives and often became a role model for junior students.
