The project is aimed at:
- building a better understanding of approaches to youth-led peacebuilding at the community level, particularly in or between communities with religious, ethnic or national tensions;
- acquainting the participants with research and evaluation tools in order to gather information about the situation in their community and build skills for their practical use;
- empowering youth workers and young leaders to enable them to participate in peacebuilding through youth peace advocacy (including the development of projects in this field).
Time and place of the event: Wierzchowice, (Republic of Poland), February 24 – March 4, 2023.
We are looking for participants:
- motivated young people, youth leaders, coordinators of social initiatives, representatives of youth public organizations aged 18+;
- with a good level of English, sufficient to participate in the project;
- with previous experience and a desire to develop in project topics (peace building, youth participation);
- willingly participate in the preparation of the project and disseminate its results.
Project financing:
- 100% of the cost of food, accommodation and flight expenses (within the established limit). Participants must purchase tickets for themselves, after the project their cost will be reimbursed within the limit.
- Participants must take out medical insurance at their own expense.
- Participants pay 40 EUR (charitable contribution of the sending organization).
The deadline for filling out the application form is January 22, 2023 (until 23:59).
