Due to the availability of a limited number of additional places, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” is opening an urgent supplementary open call for 18+ students (preferably – Master's) of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology, and Pedagogy to take part in the international virtual exchange programme within the ERASMUS-EDU-2024-VIRT-EXCH project No. 101193593 “Acquiring Transversal Competences through Virtual Voyages”. The project aims to advance the personal, professional, and intercultural competences of higher education learners in a digital environment.

Implementation Format, Timeline, and Academic Workload
The programme is designed in line with modern European standards of distance education, allowing participants to seamlessly integrate the project with their main academic curriculum at the university:
Implementation period: November – December 2026.
Course duration: 10 weeks.
Study format: flexible blended learning:
Synchronous component (2 hours per week): weekly interactive online workshops and panel discussions in international micro-groups facilitated by leading European experts;
Asynchronous component (5 hours per week): self-paced study of interactive modules and completion of practical case studies on the innovative digital platform thevoyage.eu at a time convenient for the student.
Total workload: 7 hours per week.

Project Aim and Objectives
The primary aim of the project is to create an inclusive, innovative digital space for high-quality career guidance, enhance lifelong learning skills, and cultivate essential life competences among future specialists. The project relies on the cutting-edge educational ecosystem thevoyage.eu, combining advanced distance learning tools and gamification elements to ensure maximum participant engagement.
Key objectives and thematic priorities of the programme:
• Developing critical and analytical thinking, leadership potential, adaptability, advanced digital literacy, and the capacity to resolve complex challenges effectively amidst global transformations.
• Mastering modern techniques of self-presentation, deliberate career path planning, employment strategies, and the improvement of continuous professional self-development skills (learning to learn).
• Building bridges of mutual understanding, tolerance, equality, and solidarity among more than 2,100 students from 7 countries worldwide – Romania, Italy, Türkiye, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Armenia.
• Ensuring equal access for Ukrainian higher education students to top European educational resources, expanding professional networks, and actively representing Ukraine in the international youth and academic community.

Recognition of Results and Certification
Participation in the programme is free of charge. Subject to successful completion of the syllabus, students receive an international-standard certificate – the Erasmus+ Youthpass. This document serves as official verification of the acquisition of transversal competences within Erasmus+ non-formal education frameworks and may be considered for credit transfer / academic recognition of learning outcomes (subject to the decision of the academic department and the dean's office/directorate) as well as included in the Diploma Supplement.
The Erasmus+ Youthpass certificate integrates into the international Europass CV, providing authoritative evidence of project thinking, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams for prospective employers in Ukraine and internationally.
Furthermore, validated participation in Erasmus+ programmes significantly enhances an applicant’s competitive ranking when applying for future grant competitions, semester mobility schemes, and Master’s or doctoral programmes at leading European universities.
Coordination
The International Relations Office selects participants and coordinates the learning process in cooperation with facilitators from the respective departments.
