In 2023, entrants to higher education institutions will have to take a national multi-subject test instead of the traditional ZNO. It will consist of three blocks, the second of which is a block of tasks in mathematics.
In total, there will be 22 tasks in the NMT block in mathematics, including:
- 15 tasks with the choice of one correct answer from five proposed options;
- 3 matching tasks (it is needed to set 3 "logical pairs" in each);
- 4 open-form tasks with a short answer (unstructured tasks).
Entrants will be able to receive from 0 to 32 points for completing the tasks of the block of the national multi-subject test in mathematics.
The content of the tasks of the NMT block in mathematics will correspond to the current program of the ZNO in mathematics, which covers all algebra and geometry topics studied by schoolchildren in the school course.
Mathematics tasks can be solved not only by those who studied mathematics at the profile level, but also by those who studied it at the standard level. After all, most of the tasks correspond to the program of the standard level.
In addition, each test participant will be given the opportunity to use printed reference materials, which should be read in advance.
In order to get a high score in maths, it is necessary to work hard on the school curriculum by attending online or offline lessons taught by your teachers.
Self-training will also help to prepare well for the upcoming test. By regularly taking ZNO online tests in mathematics for previous years, entrants will be able to repeat all the theoretical material in algebra and geometry, applying it in practice.
And mathematics tasks, grouped according to certain topics that correspond to the program, will allow you to practise the most problematic sections, paying maximum attention to them during preparation.
