THE DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM AND ADMINISTRATION HAS THE TEAM'S ANNUAL COMPETITION OF STUDENT SCIENTIFIC PROJECTS IN THE FIELD OF REGIONAL TOURISM
In today's conditions, tourism is the most dynamic sphere of human activity, which covers the entire spectrum of recreational services. Of course, the need for qualified specialists in this industry is constantly growing, therefore the new direction of training "Tourism", which was recently opened on the basis of the Department of Management and Administration of the Poltava National Technical University named after Yuri Kondratyuk, is becoming increasingly relevant.
In order to enhance the skills of future tourism professionals, gaining their experience in the practical use of the knowledge gained, the Department of Management and Administration, together with the Student Parliament of the Poltava National Technical Yuri KondratyukUniversity, initiated a team competition for student research projects in the field of regional tourism "Poltavshchina Tourist".
The main objectives of the Competition are:
- identification of unique objects of tourist interest (natural monuments, archeology, culture, history of architecture, etc.) for their use in creating attractive tourist and excursion routes;
- popularization of excursion and tourism opportunities of Poltava region;
- studying the life and activities of famous historians who have made a significant contribution to the development of the cultural and spiritual heritage of the region, the preservation of national traditions, folk crafts, etc .;
- collection and accumulation of relevant and unique materials on tourism.
It is planned that the Competition will be held in several stages.
The routes presented should correspond to the proposed topics:
- "Unknown pages of the history of Poltava region";
- "Charming Love Stories";
- "Golden hands of the Poltava region";
- "The original monuments of the Poltava region";
- "Poltava delights";
- "Not now that Mirgorod";
- "Ritual traditions of Poltava region"
According to the results of the team competition of student scientific projects in the field of regional tourism "Poltava creative" will be formed the base of the best excursion and tourist routes, which will be systematically used for group excursions for all interested persons (students, teachers and honorary guests of the university).
It is worth noting the initiative of students of the specialty "Tourism", which discuss the actual news of student and scientific life of the specialty on the page of the social network "Vkontakte" - "REAL TOURISM"
