National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” has a significant reason to be proud – Anastasiia Kovalenko, a teacher at the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Honored Master of Sports in Sports Billiards of Ukraine, won gold at the European Championship in Free Pyramid!
The prestigious Continental Tournament was held on July 18-21, 2025, in Batumi (Georgia) at Mukhran Vakhtangadze Sports Palace. The competition was attended by 124 athletes from 16 European countries. Over the course of four days, there was intense competition among the strongest representatives of billiards.
Anastasiia Kovalenko, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine in Sports Billiards, teacher at the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, confidently passed all stages of the competition and won the title of absolute European champion among women.
This is another outstanding achievement in Anastasiia’s sports career, which demonstrates her high professionalism and athletic skill and confirms that she is the pride of Poltava Polytechnic and all of Ukraine!
