Under the framework of the fruitful scientific and educational cooperation between National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and IT company CHI Software, bachelor’s students of III-IV years together with master’s students of specialities 122 “Computer Science” and 123 “Computer Engineering” of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics had a unique opportunity to take a training course on Android development “Android Development Basics”, which started online on 29 September 2024.
The lecturer of the course is an experienced Android Developer Andrii Pasarar, who works at CHI Software. The course programme developed by the Mobile Department of the partner company covers all the main aspects of Android development in Kotlin, a modern statically typed programming language used by more than 60% of professional Android developers.
Students can effectively learn the material and perform non-standard tasks that will allow them to consolidate their knowledge and skills in practice.
In today’s dynamic world of IT technologies, the knowledge of modern programming languages is an important requirement for junior specialists, so mastering this direction will help students of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” to find their specialisation while studying, which will simplify their integration into the professional environment.
