Bachelor’s Degree Awarding Ceremony takes place at Poltava Polytechnic

National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” held a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to the Bachelor’s degree graduates. In 2025, 942 graduates received diplomas of the first level of higher education. 104 of them earned diplomas with honors.

Bachelor’s Degree Awarding Ceremony takes place at Poltava Polytechnic

On July 11, 2025, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” held a landmark event in the format of a solemn meeting of the Academic Board, where the Bachelor’s degree graduates received their diplomas. This year, 942 students who completed their studies in more than 100 educational programs in different fields of knowledge received the first level of higher education. 104 graduates earned diplomas with honors, demonstrating their high level of academic achievement, fruitful research activities, initiative and leadership skills. Also this year, there were 10 foreign citizens among the Bachelor’s graduates, who proved the international recognition of the quality of education at Poltava Polytechnic.

This is the fourth Bachelor’s graduation to take place in the midst of the full-scale war. However, even in the most difficult times, the university continues to fulfill its mission to train highly qualified specialists who will soon be actively involved in the restoration and reconstruction of Ukraine.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence, during which the audience honored the memory of the fallen Heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine’s independence.

The graduates were congratulated by the honored guests: Deputy Head of Poltava Regional Military Administration Anton Chubenko, First Deputy Head of Poltava Regional Council Oleksandr Lemeshko, representative of Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Poltava Region Vladyslav Nosenko, Director of the Department of Education and Science of Poltava Regional Military Administration Yevhen Konchakovskyi, Deputy Director of Poltava Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, Lieutenant Colonel Eduard Borodai. President of Poltava Polytechnic Volodymyr Onyshchenko and Rector Olena Filonych addressed the graduates with congratulations.

The friends and partners of Poltava Polytechnic expressed their sincere gratitude to the university staff for the high-quality training of qualified specialists for different sectors of Ukrainian economy and wished the young specialists success and unwavering faith in their own strength. After all, it is young people, armed with deep knowledge and patriotic spirit fostered at the university, who will become the real driving force behind the reconstruction of our country.

In his welcoming speech, Anton Chubenko, Deputy Head of Poltava Regional Military Administration, emphasized the importance of involving graduates in the staffing of state and local government bodies.

Anton Chubenko suggested that young professionals who have received their Bachelor’s degree should actively pursue internships and employment in the structural units of Regional Military Administration, as well as participate in dual education programs and gain practical experience in the civil service.

The graduation ceremony began with a special moment – honoring Oleksandr Filkivskyi, a graduate of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technology and Robotics, who combined his studies with military duty in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was the first to receive Bachelor’s diploma and a certificate of honor for his initiative and significant achievements in public activities.

Among this year’s graduates, there are 7 servicemen and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Poltava Polytechnic is proud of each of them!

Bachelor’s graduates have already passed the Unified Entrance Exam and the Unified Professional Entrance Exam for further studying at Master’s Degree Program to get the next level of higher education at Poltava Polytechnic. A new generation of young specialists, Bachelor’s graduates, is ready to apply their knowledge in practice and to contribute to the restoration and development of Ukraine.
