“The very first match was interrupted by an air raid alarm, but the closing and the award ceremonies took place solemnly and calmly, thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!

I thank the parents for the feedback about the good organization and orderliness of the university territory and that they felt safe with their children.

Only winners entered the football field, as it is already a great achievement to become a team player and fight for a sports victory. Together with partners and like-minded people who support the development of youth sports, we will continue to hold competitions so that children can engage in healthy physical activity, overcome stress and hypodynamia through online training, and most importantly – communicate with each other and enjoy childhood moments. I thank the parents of athletes and sports enthusiasts for this incredible atmosphere of joy and sincere emotions. The proposal to hold a fan contest was also very valid!

It is possible and necessary to play sports nowadays, since it is the young people who are strong in spirit and active in body that will make Ukraine a successful European state! Everything will be Ukraine!” – congratulated the athletes the Rector of the university, the Head of the Ukrainian Federation of Student Sports in the Poltava region, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko.

The ceremony was conducted by the rector of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Volodymyr Onyshchenko and the guests of honor – the Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Poltava City Council Ihor Kyslov, the head coach of the Ukrainian Deflympic football team, which won first place at the Deaflympics-2022 in Brazil, a university graduate Viktor Kozin.

“I want to say that you are doing a very correct and useful thing for Ukraine – you are showing everyone that we are alive, we are moving, and we have a future and victory is ours. There are no losers among you – there are only winners who stepped onto the football field and showed their skills. We will hold as many such tournaments as possible so that as many teams as possible can participate in such events. Together to victory!” – noted Ihor Kyslov.

“First of all, I would like to thank the management of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” for holding another tournament, I wish you to continue such activities in the future. Secondly, I want to thank the coaches of the children’s teams for their patience. I want to thank the football players for their desire to show skill and thirst for victory, as well as wish them to become stars of the Poltava, All-Ukrainian and world level in the future, and I also wish them to become students of the Poltava Polytechnic in the future,” – wished Viktor Kozin.
