As part of the project "Housing and Financial Assistance for Vulnerable Households in Ukraine", the charitable organization "Caritas Poltava" provides financial assistance for the heating period, which is designed to provide 500 families from among internally displaced persons living in the Poltava region, with the possibility of moving from places of collective settlement in rented accommodation for a period of six months.

On the condition of relocation, "Caritas Poltava" provides financial assistance to IDPs to cover housing rent for six months in the amount of 7,500 to 9,500 hryvnias, and also pays 16,200 hryvnias for the payment of utilities for the heating period and for each family member (up to 4 members) one-time financial assistance in the amount of 6,600 hryvnias.

"The 6660 program is assistance for IDPs for their multi-purpose use, that is, they can use these funds at their own discretion. In order to register for this assistance, you need to fall under the vulnerability criterion – these are people with disabilities, people over the age of 60, parents with children under the age of three, single parents-guardians and people who have lost their source of income and receive less than 5,400 hryvnias.

If you register for 6660 and receive a positive answer, you can also participate in the housing rental program. You find a house or an apartment within the Poltava region, which will cost from 7,500 to 9,500 hryvnias. You sign an apartment rental agreement with this tenant, an act of acceptance and transfer of property and come to our office (20/1 Pylypa Orlyka Street), sign the agreement and fill out another questionnaire to participate in this program. If you participate in the housing rental program, you also receive assistance for utilities –16,200 hryvnias for the heating period.

That is, it already goes as an aid package: 6,660 financial assistance, which you can spend at your discretion; 7,500-9,500 hryvnias for housing rent; 16,200 for the heating period so that you can pay for all services," – said a social worker of the "Caritas Poltava" charitable foundation Oleksandr Korobochka.
