Well-known Ukrainian TV presenter and showman Oleksandr Pedan and his daughter, Tik-Tok star Lera Pedan, are announcing a casting for a new educational project, UniverChek, the purpose of which is to show the life of Ukrainian universities and inspire youth to choose a profession not at the request of their parents, but with their heart.
"This year my daughter Lera is in her senior year. So she has to decide where to enroll in and what profession to choose. In my own experience, I can say that it is very difficult. We have seen that there are many large cities in Ukraine with many universities and even more specialties. And there is very little up-to-date information about them – only from official websites and online reviews. Based on this problem, the idea of creating a project came up. I am happy that with the help of "UniverCheck" we will show Ukrainian pupils and their parents what universities are there in our cities, how they differ and the education prospects and professional development for young people in Ukraine," – commented Oleksandr Pedan.
As part of the project, the presenters will go on an exciting journey to 10 Ukrainian cities, including Poltava, and talk to student youth, those receiving higher education, show the "uncovered" truth of student dormitories and learn many different details that parents of modern youngsters care about.
Lera will be the "eyes" of future entrants and help navigate in the world of modern higher education institutions, tell about living conditions in student dorms, present opportunities for professional arrangement of young people. Oleksandr, in turn, will tell the older generation about the prospects of university graduates, various educational programs and internships abroad.
"We are looking for interesting, ambitious, progressive student youth!
For each city we will choose 2 heroes: a local and a guest who came to the city to study. To participate in the selection, questionnaires are accepted only with a video-introduction. It should be recalled that in 2019, students of Polytechnic became volunteers of the JuniorZ project, then representatives of Oleksandr Pedan's Sports movement "Junior Z" carried out training session for pupils, teachers of physical culture and choreographers of Poltava region on the basis of Poltava Polytechnic. And later the well-known Ukrainian showman and TV presenter Oleksandr Pedan congratulated Poltava Polytechnic on the anniversary.
