From April 7 to April 28, 2022, it is planned to hold a series of free Ukrainian-language webinars for scientists, which will be devoted to the issues of working with the Web of Science platform.
On the webinars, the focus will be on the possibilities of using the tools available on the Web of Science platform, the choice of publications for publishing research results, the design of articles for publication, etc. The webinars will be conducted by Clarivate Regional Solutions Consultant Iryna Tykhonkova.
To take part in the events, it is needed to register by clicking on the appropriate link. Registered participants will be able to receive electronic certificates if they listen to at least 90% of the main time of the webinar.

April 7, 2022 – Predatory publications: to recognize and avoid.
The consequences of issuing an articles in predatory publications are a waste of time, devaluation of research results, financial losses and damage to the reputation of the scientist. During the webinar, the main types of predatory publications will be discussed, which should be considered when choosing a publication to issue research results, how to check the indexation of the publication in abstract, bibliographic databases (for example, Web of Science).

April 12, 2022 – EndNote: designing a bibliography of an article in accordance with the requirements of the journal.
There will be a discussion about formats for designing the bibliographies for publication and reference managers, how to configure the work of the EndNote reference manager, how to create and fill a collection, how to add information about the article, install a special plugin Cite While You Write ™.

April 14, 2022 – Author's profiles of the scientist.
On the webinar, it will be talked about the difficulties encountered when searching for the works of a particular author, indicators used to evaluate the scientific achievements of a scientist, in particular in the Web of Science (number of articles, citations, h-index (Index Hirscha), beamplot), the use of such indicators during the preparation of reports on the publication of the scientist, department, institution. The functions and capabilities of author identifiers Publons/ResearcherID, ORCID, ResearchGate, Google Scholar will be compared.

April 26, 2022 – Research Smarter: Clarivate tools for positioning higher education institutions in the GRAS ranking.
A new classification for the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) called Shanghai GRAS is now available in InCites Benchmarking & Analytics. This classification takes into account the Web of Science categories for 54 academic subjects according to the GRAS methodology. On the webinar, it will be discussed how Clarivate tools can be used to form a strategy to improve the ranking of universities.
