Competition for the annual CMU Prize in the field of innovative technologies is announced

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announces a competition for the annual CMU Prize for the development and implementation of innovative technologies. Acceptance of works lasts until August 1.

Competition for the annual CMU Prize in the field of innovative technologies is announced

On June 1, 2022, a competition was announced for the annual Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the development and implementation of innovative technologies. Up to 5 prizes are awarded annually for special achievements in the development and implementation of innovative technologies in the production and marketing of domestic innovative products.

Only works that result in implemented innovative projects can be nominated for the Prize. The author's team can consist of ten direct performers. Only those works, results of which are applied in practice (for more than a year before the nomination for the Prize) are accepted for consideration of the commission.

When awarding the Prize, the following is taken into account:

  • practical value and prospects of the applicant’s results for the enterprise, industries and national economy;
  • the number of workplaces created for the introduction of innovative technology and new jobs in high-tech industries;
  • availability of modern high-tech scientific equipment and efficiency of its use;
  • compliance of work with priority areas of science, technology and innovation;
  • the number of security documents for intellectual property rights used in the work;
  • the number of concluded license agreements for the use of intellectual property rights and innovation.

Enterprises, institutions and organizations send applications for the Prize by August 1 of the year of the competition to Ministries, central executive bodies, the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Medical Sciences, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, which select up to 5 works and submit them to the Ministry of Education and Science by October 1.
