Educational process after the holidays: an extended meeting of the Rectorate takes place

"We held an extended meeting of the Rectorate, identifying specific steps to implement a number of important tasks. The main task now is to establish the educational process in difficult conditions, which our team is successfully coping with, since the experience of training during the pandemic has come in handy.

In our work we take into account the requirements of the security situation, the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Poltava Regional Military Administration. Asynchronous mode is used in the organization of the educational process, educational materials and lectures are available 24/7 – students of university and colleges have the opportunity to master disciplines both by visiting classes online as scheduled and at a time when they have stable access to the Internet.

Curators of academic groups, lecturers keep in touch with students, and established high-quality communication on the part of academic staff.

This week I plan to hold an online briefing with the student self-government bodies to take into account the wishes of students to improve the organization of the educational process.

In addition, we maintain liaison with higher education institutions in the regions where hostilities are taking place, continue to assist evacuated colleagues from the Kharkiv region – to solve current issues, and provide effective support in establishing the process of administrative and operational management process.

We continue to provide hot lunches for campus residents and university staff.

Everyone in their place contributes to the Victory! Glory to Ukraine!" – said the rector.

On the occasion during the meeting, the Rectorate congratulated the jubilee – Honored Architect of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Architecture, head of the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Construction and Land Management, Doctor of Architecture, Professor Vadym Mytrofanovych Vadimov.

"We maintain our good traditions even in such a difficult time. On behalf of the Poltava Polytechnic staff, we sincerely wish you peace, goodness and health!" – congratulated Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
