Enrollees From Crimea and Donbas To Be Able To Enter University In Poltava Without EIE

According to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy are hosting educational centers “Donbas-Ukraine” and “Crimea-Ukraine”. Enrollees from temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas will be able to enter Polytechnic, UMSA and Myrhorod Art and Industrial College Named After M. V. Hohol in a simplified procedure.

Enrollees From Crimea and Donbas To Be Able To Enter University In Poltava Without EIE

According to the Head of the General Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Svitlana Kretovych, school leavers from Crimea and Donbas will be able to enter any higher education institution which has educational centers “Donbas-Ukraine” and “Crimea-Ukraine” without taking the External Independent Evaluation. The centers will function from June, 9 to October, 23, 2020 (date changes are possible due to the lockdown limitations).

The list of higher education institutions within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine includes National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and the structural subdivision of the university, Myrhorod Art and Industrial College Named After M. V. Hohol.

In total, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine determined more than 100 of higher education and professional education institutions that the citizens of temporarily occupied territories of Donbas and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea will be able to enter in simplified procedure in 2020. They included 88 higher education institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, 15 institutions administered by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Informational Policy.

The enrollees from AR Crimea and Sevastopol are participating in the competition for places within the quota No. 2, available in any of these higher educational institutions. And the enrollees from the territory of the Armed Forces Operation enter these institutions by participating in the general competition having received points for the entrance examinations.

“The educational centers started working on June, 9. The enrollees only need to choose the specialty and the education institution they would like to enter and apply to the educational center in this institution from June, 9 to October, 23, 2020. The visit to the educational center can be arranged beforehand, the contacts of the centers are published at the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine,” the General Director of the Board of Directors of Higher Education and Adults’ Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Oleh Sharov announced.
