Entry-2023: how to successfully prepare for NMT tasks in physics

In total, there will be 20 tasks in the block of the national multi-subject test (NMT) in physics, where the entrants will have to choose one correct answer from the four offered, establish the correspondence between "logical pairs" and complete open-form tasks with a short answer. Entrants will be able to receive from 0 to 32 points for completing the tasks of the physics multitest block.

Entry-2023: how to successfully prepare for NMT tasks in physics

The national multi-subject test (NMT) in 2023 will consist of three blocks, the third of which will be a block of tasks from one subject of your choice (history of Ukraine, biology, chemistry, physics or a foreign language).

There will be a total of 20 tasks in the NMT physics block, among which:

  • 12 tasks with choosing one correct answer from four options;
  • 2 matching tasks (you need to set 4 “logical pairs” in each);
  • 6 open-ended tasks with a short answer.

Entrants will be able to receive from 0 to 32 points for completing the tasks of the physics multitest block.

The content of the NMT tasks block in physics will correspond to the current ZNO program in physics, which covers 5 thematic blocks, the study of which is provided for in the school physics course.

In order to get a high score in physics, you need to work hard on your school curriculum by attending online or offline classes conducted by your teachers.

Self-training will also help to prepare well for the upcoming test. By regularly taking ZNO-ONLINE physics tests for previous years, entrants will be able to repeat all the theoretical material, applying it in practice.

And the tasks in physics, grouped by certain topics that correspond to the program, will allow you to work out the most problematic sections, paying maximum attention to them during preparation.

If there are questions about the correctness of the answers when performing certain tasks, applicants can use comments on past years’ physics tests provided by leading test preparation specialists.

Regular performance of online physics test tasks, which are as close as possible to those offered during real testing, will allow you to get used to working in the environment of online testers and get a result that will be a ticket to your dream higher education institution.

Previously, we shared with the entrants how to better prepare for the tasks of the NMT in mathematics and how to effectively prepare for the NMT in the Ukrainian language.
