#ErasmusDays2026: Discover Europe with the Faculty of Philology, Psychology, and Pedagogy!

As part of the European Union’s annual international initiative #ErasmusDays2026, the Faculty of Philology, Psychology, and Pedagogy invites undergraduate and postgraduate (Master's) students of all study years and majors to an open meeting entitled “Language, People, World: Your Start in Europe with Erasmus+”, dedicated to international academic mobility programmes, semester-long exchange studies, and professional internships under the Erasmus+ programme.

#ErasmusDays2026: Discover Europe with the Faculty of Philology, Psychology, and Pedagogy!

This week, the world celebrates #ErasmusDays2026, a large-scale international event uniting millions of students, faculty members, and alumni across Europe!

Our university traditionally joins the global community to show that European academic mobility is within reach for each of you.

On the occasion of #ErasmusDays2026, the Faculty of Philology, Psychology, and Pedagogy invites undergraduate and Master’s students across all academic majors to an open information event entitled “Language, People, World: Your Start in Europe with Erasmus+”.

What is #ErasmusDays and why does it matter right now?

#ErasmusDays represents the global open days of the EU’s Erasmus+ programme, during which leading European universities present educational opportunities, share success stories, and open new calls for academic mobility applications. For our faculty students, this is a prime opportunity to learn about partner universities and build a competitive application for the upcoming semester. Studying theory from textbooks is essential, but gaining firsthand experience at leading European centres, studios, and universities is invaluable.

Student years are a time for bold decisions, stepping beyond conventional lecture halls, and acquiring practical international-level experience. What if you spent your next semester mastering restoration techniques in Italian museums, practising simultaneous interpreting in Germany, analysing digital media in France, or implementing advanced Scandinavian pedagogical systems?

This isn't a social media illusion; it's a completely achievable opportunity for every student through the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme!

Who will share experience and insights?

The meeting will be held in a dynamic, practice-oriented dialogue format, where you will receive answers to both procedural and practical everyday questions:

Anna Pavelieva, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of Germanic Philology and Translation, and the university’s International Relations Coordinator, will explain in detail the complete procedure and official framework of participation: where to look for open calls, candidate eligibility requirements, how to compile the application package without errors, and how to properly formalise a Learning Agreement. Anna Pavelieva will also share practical advice on navigating the competitive selection process, application assessment criteria, and the academic credit recognition procedure.

Our students, who have already completed semester studies and professional internships at foreign universities and institutions, will share their firsthand experiences: from overcoming the fear of applying to securing accommodation, adapting to a new country, daily living, language immersion, and professional achievements.

Erasmus+ for every major at our faculty!

The Erasmus+ opportunities are open to all degree programmes offered by the faculty. What exactly will our students gain at European higher education institutions?

Specialised Translation (English, German): direct immersion in the native-speaker linguistic environment, working with state-of-the-art CAT tools, and practising technical, legal, and business translation in accordance with EU standards.

Practical Psychology: access to European research centres, exposure to leading psychotherapeutic schools (CBT, Gestalt, Art Therapy), mental health support methodologies, and crisis counselling.

Fine Arts and Restoration: practical training in European art studios, museums, and conservation laboratories; study of modern materials and classical techniques for cultural heritage restoration directly in countries with centuries-old art preservation traditions.

Media Communications: content creation for European media platforms, research in digital communications, data journalism, fact-checking, and countering disinformation according to international standards.

Information and Records Management: study of European e-governance, digital archives, cyber protection systems for information flows, and modern corporate data management.

Education Majors (Secondary Education: English and a Second Foreign Language; English Language and Foreign Literature; Preschool Education): mastering CLIL methodologies, early bilingual development, inclusive educational practices, and cutting-edge Scandinavian and European frameworks for engaging with children and youth.

Why is it beneficial and secure for your academic path?

100% cost coverage: tuition at host European HEIs is tuition-free. A monthly European grant (ranging from €800 to €1,000+ depending on the host country) fully covers accommodation, meals, personal expenses, and travel.

Zero academic debt: all courses completed abroad are recognised and transferred via the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) in accordance with your individual learning plan.

Launch an international career: an Erasmus+ certificate in your Diploma Supplement and CV gives you a distinct advantage in securing roles in multinational companies, cultural foundations, and private educational and psychological centres.

Agenda of the meeting

Partner University List: which European universities are opening applications for our faculty for the next semester.

Step-by-step Application Checklist: required documentation and how to complete the application form without errors.

Cover Letter and CV: how to compile an impactful portfolio and write a statement of purpose that convinces the selection committee.

Language Barrier and “imposter syndrome”: how to feel confident during the selection process even without a C2 certificate.

Direct Q&A Session: presentations by faculty students who have recently returned from European mobilities and are ready to share practical advice on relocation, daily living, and academic studies.
