Public organization “Kremenchuk Information and Education Center “European Club” invites everyone who is really concerned about the state of the environment, who has practical experience in the field of environmental protection and wants to share ideas in the field of ecology. Applications are currently being accepted for participation in an international youth exchange in Georgia, where everyone will have the opportunity to exchange modern innovative ideas with like-minded people from Georgia, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey and Jordan. Partakers will deepen their theoretical knowledge, increase their level of awareness about environmental pollution and its impact on our health and deliberate on the most effective ways to prevent various types of pollution.
The international youth exchange program “STEP 2 Think Green” will take place from March 23 to April 1, 2022 in the resort town of Kobuleti on the Black Sea coast (25 km from Batumi).
Main objectives of youth exchange:
- to disseminate information to young people on how to prevent general environmental pollution;
- to share opinions, approaches, experiences and examples of good educational practices, non-formal education methods to find ways to solve environmental protection problems in each country;
- to provide participants with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to involve young people in activities related to environmental protection;
- to spread activities about a healthy lifestyle for young people in the field of environmental protection;
- to raise awareness about waste recycling through artistic activities with young people;
- to increase knowledge about environmental pollution and how it affects health;
- to strengthen the capacity of young people in active citizenship, the ability to take responsibility in their own countries and to participate in environmental protection decision-making processes;
- to give young people useful practical cases on the examples of cooperation at the international level and to encourage them to organize such events.
Requirements for candidates:
- Ukrainian citizenship;
- age – 18-30 years;
- availability of a foreign passport;
- availability of health insurance;
- English at the level of opportunities to communicate with representatives of different countries on the prevention of environmental pollution, issues and situations in the field of environment;
- readiness to participate in preparation for cultural exchange and training sessions;
- the opportunity to pay for round-trip to the city of Kobuleti (ticket costs will be reimbursed after the exchange);
- certificate of vaccination with 2 doses against COVID-19 + negative PCR test;
- possibility to pay the registration fee after the approval of your candidacy – 40 euros.
The costs of food and accommodation for all participants during the exchange are borne by the host organization.
