The Institute of International Education invites students, scientists and representatives of public organizations to take advantage of the Fulbright Academic Exchange Program. Submission of applications for participation in regular competitions for Fulbright scholarships for training, internships and research in the 2023/2024 academic year is underway.

For candidates for the Fulbright Graduate Student and Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program – students and graduates of higher education institutions as well as young lecturers and researchers, the application deadlines have been extended until June 30, 2022.

FULBRIGHT GRADUATE STUDENT PROGRAM:

Study at American universities from one to two years to obtain a master's degree. The competition is open to senior students, graduates of higher education institutions. Fields of specialization: humanities, social, exact, technical and natural sciences. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree at the time of awarding the scholarship.

FULBRIGHT FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING ASSISTANT PROGRAM:

Internship in teaching Ukrainian language (assistance to American lecturers) at universities / colleges in the US lasting nine months. The competition is open to novice lecturers and young professionals specializing in linguistics, Ukrainian literature, translation studies, communications, journalism, American studies, and English language teaching. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree at the time of the scholarship (July next year).

The Fulbright Program, sponsored by the US government and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE), is at the forefront of the international education system. Founded on the idea of ​​interaction and mutual understanding as well as based on knowledge and respect for a diverse world, it has been operating successfully since 1946, now in more than 160 countries.

Over the 30 years of the Program's existence in Ukraine (since 1992), more than 1,100 Ukrainians studied, did internships, and conducted research in the United States; almost 800 Americans taught in Ukrainian higher education institutions and engaged in scientific work.
