On October 24, the traditional meeting of the literary studio of the Poltava Polytechnic “To the Origins” took place at the Centre for Veteran Development of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Literature and Language, which was attended by students, teachers and employees of the university.
“It is gratifying that even in such troubled times, we traditionally gather around the poetic word on the eve of the Day of Ukrainian Literature and Language. After all, the word is also a weapon and it is extremely important – in whose hands it is now!” – greeted the participants head of the literary studio “To the Origins”, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy Nataliia Bondar.
The event began with sensitive patriotic lyrics by the participant of the Hadiach Safari, a student majoring in “Fine Art, Decorative Art, Restoration”, artist, thinker, poet Oleksandr Syvash.
“Indeed, life is changing. Some points should be reconsidered in the sense that if you stay on Earth, then you are needed here for something. Now I try to do everything – study, create, write, just to decide what God gave me life for.
Now I am writing more about love. They ask me: ‘How did this happen? Have you fallen in love?’ Yes, I fell in love, I fell in love with life,” – shared Oleksandr Syvash.
According to the author, poetry appears spontaneously, sometimes unexpectedly. The poet noted that creativity is usually influenced by mood and circumstances. While writing his own poems, he was inspired by Shevchenko’s poetry.
The literary composition “Autumn” was presented by the author, the head of the Centre for Work with Gifted Youth of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Olha Sen.
Also, students of the “Secondary Education” specialty of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy, members of the literary studio “To the Origins” – the talented director of the amateur theatre “Carpe Diem” Anna Moroz, organizers of city poetry festivals Tetiana Riabiko and Kseniia Zelenenka – also presented their poetic works.
Soulful poetry, full of emotions and experiences, was presented by a talented scientist, head of the Department of Organizational and Analytical Support of the Educational Process, Doctor of Philosophy, poet Natalia Maksiuta. According to the author, lyrics and rhyming help to cope with longing and feelings, and also save in difficult times.
Author’s poems about life and our present were delivered to the public by Nataliia Bondar, the head of the literary studio “To the Origins”.
Poet, professor, head of the Department of Highways, Geodesy, Land Management and Rural Buildings of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Hryhorii Sharyi read his poetic works, full of love for the homeland and native land. It should be recalled that earlier the Poltava Polytechnic scientist presented his own poetry collection “Hart” (“Hardening”).
The results of his creative activity were presented by the head of the Centre for Culture and Student Creativity of the Poltava Polytechnic, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy, member of the International Association of Writers and Journalists, Candidate of Sciences in Social Communications, philologist, local historian, translator Hlib Kudriashov, who presented his own line-by-line translations of the National Anthem of the Republic of Bangladesh “My Golden Bengal” and National Anthem of India.
Earlier, a creative meeting with Pavlo Kazarin took place at the Centre for Veteran Development of the Poltava Polytechnic.
