On November 2, at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Poltava City Council, a decision was made to award nominal scholarships of the Poltava City Council to students of institutions of higher and professional pre-higher education in the city of Poltava.
Twenty-six students will receive scholarships from the Poltava City Council, including four students of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" and the Poltava College of Oil and Gas:
Dariia Holovko – a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", three-time European and World 2023 champion, multiple champion and medalist of the championships of Ukraine in powerlifting among juniors;
Anton Batrachenko – a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technology and Robotics of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic";
Diana Semenets – a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic";
Oleksandr Davydenko – a student of the Poltava Oil and Gas College of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic".
According to the Regulation on the procedure for the appointment and payment of the mayor's scholarship for young scientists, scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis at the expense of trust funds from the city budget. The monthly stipend for students of higher education institutions of I-IV accreditation levels (state and non-state forms of ownership) is 1,500 hryvnias.
It should be recalled that the Polytechnic scientist was awarded a lifetime scholarship by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and the Polytechnic scientist's project won at the XII International Festival of Innovative Projects "Sikorsky Challenge 2023".
