FPCS student wins the bronze medal of the Ukrainian Boxing Championship

Student of group 201-FS of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Bohdan Omelianenko became a bronze medallist of the Ukrainian Boxing Championship among men under 22. The athlete of Poltava Polytechnic won the honourable award by becoming the best in the 63.5 kg weight category.

FPCS student wins the bronze medal of the Ukrainian Boxing Championship

From 12 to 19 May 2024, Rivne hosted the Ukrainian Boxing Championship among men under 22 in memory of defender Andrii Ohorodnyk.

The best boxers from different parts of Ukraine competed for the championship and sets of honorary awards, as they also fought for the right to represent our country at the U22 European Championships among men and women, which will take place from 10 to 21 October 2024 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

A student of group 201-FS of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Bohdan Omelianenko became a bronze medallist of the Championship, winning the 63.5 kg weight category.

According to the results of the competition, the athlete of Poltava Polytechnic became a member of the Ukrainian national boxing team and is actively preparing for the European Championship.

Congratulations to the bronze medallist on his enchanting victory at the prestigious competition! We are proud of him and wish him vitality, inspiration and new significant achievements in conquering the peaks of sports Olympus!

Recently, a graduate and a student of the university became gold medallists of the Ukrainian Team Athletics Championship among adults and youth, silver and bronze medallists of the European Arm Wrestling Championship, and cheerleaders of Polytechnic won awards of the Ukrainian Championship among schoolchildren and students.
