GO buildit is a multidisciplinary competition in which student teams will have to create their own unique objects and compete for the championship in the finals. The winners will receive cash prizes, prizes and will have the opportunity to do an internship at competition partners.
Partakers will have the opportunity to prove themselves on the way from concept development to presentation to the customer. The main focus is VDC-processes (Virtual Design and Construction – Information modeling of buildings and edifices), which include interconnection coordination, 4D logistics, energy efficiency and calculations.
Within the framework of the competition, teams will develop their own projects, in conditions close to real: plans, deadlines and communication with contractors. Everyone will have a role in the team. Division of responsibilities, process setup and team unity lead to victory.
To participate, one needs to form a team of 4 partakers: manager (student or lecturer), architect, design engineer, systems engineer. Each team member must have basic engineering skills, knowledge of construction and VDC processes.
Participants must have hard skills (mastery of Autodesk: Revit, Navisworks, Insight, BIM 360 tools, functional cost analysis and work with documentation, planning and phasing of the construction project, 3D coordination) and soft skills (teamwork, time management, decisions acceptance, communication).
Key dates:
- Registration – until March 6;
- Beginning of the first stage – March 7;
- Finals and announcement of the winners – April 29-30.

BuildIt Ukraine is a public company whose activities are aimed at implementing changes in the construction industry by modernizing the education system.
This process is underway thanks to a combination of practical experience of market participants and the institute of academic education. The organization has more than 30 projects in the field of modern construction education and 3,000 students participating in the projects.
