Christmas is a great holiday of hope and faith in the victory of light over darkness. Good over evil. And the New Year is the beginning of new hopes, a new chapter in life.
Thanks to our Defenders and Defendresses, we are able to continue working, and students are able to study. We do not forget this for a minute and work selflessly, maintaining leading positions on the educational front.
Despite the war, the university is developing dynamically, creating the best conditions for the education and development of young people, ready to respond to the difficult challenges of our time. We work for Victory and protect our future – educated youth!
We carry on specialists’ training, for them to restore post-war Ukraine, professional defenders’ training, for them to become future officers, on the basis of the Military Training Department, and now help veterans return to civilian life. We are working to ensure that our defenders have a place to return to, to whom they can entrust their children’s future.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, all activities at the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” have been exclusively charitable.
We collect aid for defenders and IDPs. This year, we crossed the first million hryvnias threshold collected to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thank you to the star friends of Poltava Polytechnic who support our volunteer initiatives!
Unfortunately, we keep a list of our students’ and graduates’ names losses. Another year passes with pain. But the Heroes who gave their lives for our country, truth and freedom will always live in our hearts and memories.
The past year was an anniversary year for the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. We modestly celebrated the 205th educational traditions anniversary, proving that Poltava has always had an educated and pro-European community of prominent figures of science, culture, and art. We are proud that this community gathered on the historic campus of our university. And now a patriotic community of innovators is forming around the university, who see the future of Ukraine as a modern legal European state. We proudly bear the status of a National University and represent Ukraine in the modern European educational space.
I wish all of us unity on the way to Victory! Today, this is our common goal, a common dream.
May harmony and well-being prevail in every family, the flame of hope will never go out.

So let the most cherished wish of all Ukrainians — Victory — come true, and peace will come!
