On February 2, during the meeting of the Academic Council of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Rector, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko on behalf of the scientific and pedagogical team and him personally congratulated the Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation Liana Ptashchenko on her anniversary.
In accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the university, the scientist of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of the Poltava Polytechnic" for many years of conscientious work, high professionalism and significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified professionals in the financial sphere.
"Even under martial law, no matter what, in a friendly circle of like-minded people, we continue the good traditions of Poltava Polytechnic. Warm words were addressed to the heroine of the day by the university administration, colleagues – scientists and student youth, who noted Liana Oleksandrivna's remarkable efficiency, perseverance and purposefulness, love for her chosen cause and devoted service to science. For many years, by her own example, the wise mentor inspires students, postgraduates and graduates to discover the depths of financial literacy, to develop professionally in various ways, to realize the most ambitious dreams and not to stop at what they have achieved.
Liana Ptashchenko is the author of more than 200 scientific and educational papers, including 4 articles in the Scopus and Web of Science, and has 8 copyright registration certificates. She is a member of the editorial board of the scientific publication, included in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine "Economy and the Region" (category B), Scientific Bulletin of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" and foreign peer-reviewed scientific publications.
Research interests: corporate sector development, management of the national economy, balancing of economic interests, economic security of the state, financial management in business. Liana Oleksandrivna was a lecturer-coach at the Youth Business Incubator (2019-2020). 1 candidate of economic sciences was trained under her supervision. Scientist’s students and graduates have repeatedly become winners and prize-winners of scientific papers competitions, participants of all-Ukrainian and international scientific-practical and Internet conferences.
For numerous scientific and educational achievements, Liana Oleksandrivna Ptashchenko was awarded the Badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "Excellence in Education" and the Badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "For Scientific and Educational Achievements", the Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Honorary Certificate of the Poltava Regional State Administration.
Touched by everyone’s attention, the scientist thanked the administration, the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law staff and the entire university for their comprehensive support and the opportunity to work for the benefit of their people.

It should be recalled that during the meeting of the Academic Council of the university, three scientists were awarded the academic titles of professor and associate professor.
Earlier, for the third year in a row, the university was the leader among higher education institutions of the Poltava region in the Webometrics 2023 ranking, almost half a thousand graduates of the master's degree completed their studies at the Polytechnic.
