The Innovation and Development Fund (Ukrainian Startup Fund, USF) is launching a program of irrevocable financial support in the form of grants for dual-purpose projects of up to $35,000 for each project. Of which $25,000 is directed to the activities of the Applicant, and up to $10,000 are to pay for the services of the Accredited Accelerator.
To search for innovative dual-purpose projects, the UFS and the Ministry of Education and Science announce the Science&Business Startup Hackathon, which is a continuation of the Science&Business series in order to support the development of projects aimed at post-war economic recovery in Ukraine.
One can participate in the Science&Business Startup Hackathon free of charge, subject to pre-registration and selection until June 22, 2022, inclusive.
The main criterion for selecting initiatives is the impact on the reconstruction of Ukraine in key areas:
- Security;
- Humanitarian and social support;
- Innovative medicine;
- Economic recovery, SME support;
- Education;
- Reconstruction of infrastructure;
- Culture.
Scientists, entrepreneurs and startups with innovative proposals, technological products, modernized services or business models that have innovative solutions for the post-war recovery of Ukraine and seek to gain new experience, knowledge and skills in the leading areas of startups' activities to commercialize their developments are invited to participate in the event.
The hackathon will last 6 days (June 27 - July 2) and will contain 5 narrow branch sessions on Marketing, Sales, Finance, Team Building, Strategy. During one working week, participants will have the opportunity to work on their idea with specialized mentors and present it at the final Pitch to investors and industry experts from the world of startups and business, as well as get information on existing support formats for scientists and innovators.
Science&Business Startup Hackathon is:

- Crush Test. Checking for stress resistance in extreme working conditions, analysis of ideas, a startup, etc.
