Students of the Faculty of Sports Bohdan Onipko (group 301HS), Artem Piven (group 501HS) and Maksym Vedashenko (group 401HS) play in Reshetylivka Volleyball Club.
During the Championship of Ukraine in Volleyball among men teams of the Second League 2019-2020, the players of Reshetylivka VC confidently defeated the General Administration of National Police in Donetsk Region (3:0), Kontinentala Team (3:0) and Zhytychi Children and Youth Sport School (3:0). In the three games, Nik Sotnik, Vitalii Sukhinin and Bohdan Onipko were the best players.
“I would like to congratulate Reshetylivka VC with this bright season ending. Being shortlisted to the Ukraine Cup and triumphing in the Second League Championship is a great result for the team,” the President of Volleyball Federation of Ukraine (VFU) Mykhailo Melnyk shared his impressions.
The sportsmen were awarded according to their roles. The Best Setter was given to the student of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Maksym Vedashenko.
According to the media office of VFU, the team will represent Poltava region next season in the Top League of the Championship of Ukraine in Volleyball.
