The academic staff and students of the Department of Public Administration, Management and Law of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” actively joined the seminar dedicated to the Europe Day to promote European values: democracy, respect for human rights, the rule of law, tolerance and openness.
The seminar brought together representatives of the academic community, public figures, young people and all those who share the desire for Ukraine’s integration into the European space. The event was opened with solemn speeches focusing on the common history and culture of European nations, as well as the importance of education as a tool for building a knowledge society.
The seminar addressed key aspects of European integration, including the role of public administration in implementing European standards, adapting legislation to EU norms, as well as building a transparent and responsible governance system. Special emphasis was placed on the impact of educational programmes and research on accelerating integration processes.
Students of Law as well as Public Management and Administration had a unique opportunity to listen to leading experts in the field of European studies who discussed current challenges and tried to find innovative solutions to harmonise Ukrainian society with European standards. This was not only an intellectual exchange, but also a source of inspiration for future leaders who will implement the ideas of democratic development.
Such events are evidence that Ukraine is confidently moving towards the European community while preserving its own identity and centuries-old traditions. Europe Day is not only a holiday, but also a reminder of the importance of unity, cooperation and mutual support to achieve a common goal of peace, welfare and prosperity.
Thanks to such initiatives, the Department of Public Management, Administration and Law confirms its active role in the formation of conscious, responsible and educated citizens who are ready to build the future in close cooperation with European partners.
It should be recalled that the students of the speciality Law got acquainted with the activities of the Poltava District Administrative Court.
