On the portal “Diia. Digital Education” a series is to come out that will be useful for internally displaced persons and job seekers

Finding a new job, moving and providing for the family, not getting stuck in debt are the problems facing many Ukrainians now. That is why on the portal “Diia. Digital Education” a new series will be launched called “Basic principles of employment and financial literacy”, which will be useful for internally displaced persons and all those who are looking for a job. It will also help to improve digital literacy in order to adapt to new conditions as quickly as possible.

The educational series contains 5 episodes with a duration of 7-17 minutes and is available at the link.

  • Episode 1. Job search. Where should you start if you have lost your job or are planning to change your career? What is the situation on the labor market and what has changed since the beginning of the war.
  • Episode 2. Employment. How to join the labor exchange, get a job, choose a field of activity, write a resume, write a motivation letter and pass an interview.
  • Episode 3. Introduction to financial literacy. About human capital, life cycle theory, wealth formula and compound interest.
  • Episode 4. About the personal budget, loans and inflation. What are the types and rules of keeping a personal budget, as well as about financial planning and inflation.
  • Episode 5. Deposits and loans. We will talk about the role and types of deposits and loans, as well as their advantages and disadvantages.

The course was developed by students of the Kyiv School of Economics as part of the UPSHIFT program with the support of UNICEF and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for the “Diia. Digital education” platform. Its content is the responsibility of UPSHIFT participants and does not necessarily reflect the position of UNICEF.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft Law of Ukraine “On Adult Education” in the first reading.
