“Path to Success”: psychological studio participants present a palette of creative hobbies

Teachers and students of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” held an open meeting of the psychological studio “Path to Success” dedicated to student hobbies. The participants of the studio presented their own photographs, author’s poems, drawings, national and stylized embroidery, hand-made knitting.

On October 26, 2022, on the basis of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, an open meeting of the psychological studio “Path to Success” – “Student Palette of Creativity” was held, dedicated to the formation of competencies of student youth, where students presented one’s own personality and a unique world of hobbies. The students of specialties 053 “Psychology” and 012 “Preschool Education” became active participants of the psychological studio meeting, who presented their hobbies of artistic photography, author's poems, drawings, national and stylized embroidery, knitted hand-made. Incredibly positive impressions from viewing works of art, dance, video game development were expressed by philology students who admired the high level, aesthetics and harmony of those performances.

The participants and guests of the psychological studio “Path to Success” were greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of the Poltava Polytechnic, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Anna Aheicheva and the Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Svitlana Yalanska, who wished the student talents of the Poltava Polytechnic further success in the implementation of creative ideas and plans, as well as mastering the chosen profession.

“Once again, I am convinced that our students’ world of talents is inexhaustible, bright presentations, speeches and recitation of author’s poetry prove that creativity is your element, your life. I wish that during your studies at our university you will add new bright colors to your inner world, find new manifestations of your own talent and have an interesting and useful time. Thank you very much for the opportunity to get away from everyday realities for a moment and touch the beautiful world!” – commented the Head of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy, Anna Aheicheva.

A unique “highlight” of the event was a creative greeting from the youngest participant of the psychological studio, multiple times winner of international and all-Ukrainian vocal competitions, Anna Solomashenko.

The students of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy Anhelina Kryzhka, Anastasiia Tverdostup, Karyna Aleksieieva, Maksym Postil, Sofiia Fedorenko, Viktoriia Ksionz, Tetiana Medukha, Inna Savchenko, Anna Tumanovska, Mariia Nechytaliuk and Aliona Prydatko presented their own poems and photographs, drawings, embroidery, knitted items, dance art and the results of the creative activity “Poltava in the Minecraft game”, prepared within the framework of the international project.

The participants shared their own experience in the implementation of creative ideas, emphasized personal and processual aspects, in particular, noted the importance of the creative resource of youth, the role of creativity in harmonizing the emotional state of the individual, which is extremely relevant in difficult life situations.

Within the framework of the psychological studio meeting, there was held a presentation of the collective creative work of students of specialties 012 “Preschool Education”, 053 “Psychology” as well as scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy – Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Svitlana Yalanska, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Nina Atamanchuk, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Lesia Klevaka and Specialist Oleksandr Kornilov. Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy Nataliia Saiko became a creative producer and inspiration.

At the end of the meeting of the “Path to Success” psychological studio, the participants and guests took a photo to remember and exchanged positive impressions.

The teachers of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” invite everyone to cooperate in the work of the psychological studio “Path to Success”, and wish the student youth new creative ideas, artistic achievements and inner harmony.

Previously, psychologists named effective methods of psychological self-help, psychology students and teachers discussed how to organize living space in the conditions of a pandemic, learned to fight stress and restore psychological balance, psychologists discussed the formation of personality in the European educational space, conducted a virtual tour of a Polytechnic, scientists of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy held an online seminar for specialists in working with at-risk teenagers, and psychologists from leading universities considered the impact of modern realities on youth development.
