Pedagogical experience, psychological and medico-biological aspects of physical education and sports become the key topics of the scientific and practical conference of the Faculty of FCS

On December 1, 2021, the 2nd All-Ukrainian scientific and practical Internet conference with international participation “Current problems of physical culture, sports and physical education” was held at the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. Participants of the conference were scientists, teachers, postgraduate students, school teachers, students, physical culture and sports specialists not only from Ukraine, but also from Belarus, Poland and Azerbaijan.

The 2nd All-Ukrainian scientific and practical Internet conference with international participation “Current problems of physical culture, sports and physical education”, founded last year, was held on the basis of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.

Makarenko; International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute “Beit Khan” (Dnipro); Izmail State University of Humanities; KZ “Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy” of the Kharkiv Regional Council; Kremenets regional humanitarian pedagogical institute named after Taras Shevchenko (Kyiv); Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University; Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk; Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine”; Donbas State Pedagogical University; Poltava State Agrarian University; V. G. Korolenko Poltava State Pedagogical University; Kremenchug Pedagogical College named after A.S. Makarenko; Poltava Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Kolos”; Poltava District State Administration; Poltava Regional State Administration; Sports Schools of the Poltava region; Zaporizhzhia comprehensive school of levels I-III No. 49 of the Zaporizhia City Council of the Zaporizhia Region; Gomel State University named after Francisk Skorina; L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and others joined the event.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss topical issues of physical culture and sports, namely advanced pedagogical experience in the professional training of future specialists in physical culture, sports, and physical education; modern and historical development of physical culture and sports; pedagogical, psychological and medico-biological aspects of physical education and sports; formation and improvement of sports and technical skills; problems of health and a healthy lifestyle in education, physical culture and sports.

The conference was solemnly opened by the dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Lina Rybalko.

The participants were actively deliberating and asking questions to the speakers.

After the plenary meeting, the work of the conference continued at sectional meetings in the following areas:

  • Modern and historical development of physical culture and sports.
  • Advanced pedagogical experience in the professional training of future specialists in physical culture, sports and physical education.
  • Psychological and medico-biological aspects of physical education and sports.
  • Problems of health and healthy lifestyle in education, physical culture and sports.

Earlier, the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports held a conference on physical rehabilitation, and scientists in the field of rehabilitation and ergotherapy discussed modern technologies.
