The competition commission of the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of Poltava City Council made the decision on awarding monthly scholarships for young scientists to ten scientists of the city on a closed meeting.
The members of the commission analyzed the submitted scientific works, publications in Ukrainian and international collections, learned the list of candidate’s submitted documents and chose the winners.
This year’s scholarship holders of Poltava City Council included teachers of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Architecture and Town Planning Yurii Avramenko and PhD in Economics, Assistant Professor of the Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation Olha Bondarevska.
According to the Procedure of Awarding and Paying the Scholarship of the Mayor for Young Scientists, the scholarship is awarded on competitive basis and from the city budget costs. The monthly scholarship amounts to 2000 UAH for young scientists and 1500 UAH for students of higher education institutions of III-IV accreditation levels. In total, 10 young scientists and 25 students (three of which are from our university) are going to receive the scholarship in 2020.
