Poltava-Kyiv: young scientists invite you to a scientific cafe about academic integrity

The Council of Young Scientists of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of the Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University will hold a joint online event on the Zoom platform, dedicated to the issues of academic integrity in Ukraine and abroad – scientific cafe “333 kilometers of scientific integrity in action”.

The event was supposed to take place on February 25, but was postponed due to the beginning of Russian aggression and hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.

The name of the event was chosen not by chance, since the number 333 symbolizes the distance between the Ukrainian capital and the city of Poltava, and scientists from leading universities will discuss problems without which it is impossible to imagine the active research activities of young scientists as well as postgraduate students and the preparation of student scientific papers.

Date of the event – May 13, 2022, 13:00 – 14:30

Students, postgraduates, doctoral students, young scientists, lecturers of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University are invited to professional communication as well as establishing a constructive scientific and educational dialogue.

Organizers and participants of the event will discuss key topics on the issues of academic integrity in educational institutions of Ukraine and European countries as well as will share practical experience of the two universities.

Accomplished speakers will share their knowledge in the thematic block “Academic Integrity: Experience of Ukraine and Europe”:

Anna Pavelieva, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of Germanic Philology and Translation, Guarantor of specialty 035 “Philology” (level of higher education – Bachelor), Head of the Council of Young Scientists of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Member of the Expert Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;

Dana Sopova, Doctor of Philosophy, lecturer of the Cycle Commission on Pedagogical Education, member of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of the Professional College “Universum” of Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University.

Recently, polytechnic scientists and foreign partners have discussed the world’s experience in intellectual property protection.

Previously, the Polytechnic scientist passed the Spring School for Young Scientists 2.0, participated in the webinar “How to survive in the city as a civilian during the war?”, took part in the webinar “Features of wartime mobility projects and additional support for university staff and students” from the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine and partook in the webinar “Information hygiene during the war”.
