Poltava Polytechnic athletes become gold medallists of the Rowing Championships of Ukraine on the “Dragon” boats

From June 29 to July 2, 2023, the Rowing Championships of Ukraine on the “Dragon” boats was held at the Zhytomyr Hydropark. At the tournament, more than half a thousand rowers representing 22 teams from 11 regions of Ukraine competed for the championship in various categories.

At the competitions, the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was represented by the athletes of the kayaking and canoeing section of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, who won six gold medals:

• Nyshcheta Denys, student of group 101-FS;
• Lytvynenko Taras, student of group 201-FS;
• Zakharov Roman, student of group 103-FS;
• Petlytsia Danylo, student of group 201-FS;
• Nehria Karyna, student of group 103-FS;
• Luzhetskyi Danyil, student of group 103-FS;
• Didur Roman, student of group 501-FS;
• Sihaieva Valeriia, student of group 101-FR.

Earlier, the university student became the top scorer of the First League of the Ukrainian Women’s Football Championship.
