On 11 November, the implementation team of the 101085182 – REEEFSUEIC – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH Erasmus+ project “Reformatting the environmental, energy, economic and financial spheres of Ukraine in the European integration conditions” held a large-scale promotion event dedicated to the World Energy Saving Day: “We Are Young Europeans – That’s Why We Strive for Energy Saving”. The event was attended by students majoring in 076 Entrepreneurship and Trade; 075 Marketing; 101 Ecology; 183 Environmental Protection Technologies; 072 Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market.
The students were eager to share their experience of energy saving in leading European countries and were looking for a roadmap for its implementation in Ukraine.
The event addressed a number of important issues, such as the management of Ukraine’s green environmental policy; the search for alternative energy sources; energy efficiency policy; and the EU’s plan for energy assistance to Ukraine. Students discussed the challenges and barriers to the development of energy saving systems in EU countries.
At the end, all participants split into teams and played an interactive game called “My Energy Efficient Country”, where each team presented its vision of opportunities and ways to overcome energy crises and challenges for Ukraine.
The speakers of this promotion were the project manager, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Business and Marketing Kseniia Chychulina, and the coordinator, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation Vitaliia Skryl.
All participants of the event received sweet prizes and were in a good mood. It was a pleasant surprise for the young people on the eve of the International Students’ Day. Don’t hesitate to join the initiatives of Erasmus+ and National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
