On December 19, during the ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement with the NSC "National Scientific Centre “Hon. Prof. M.S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute" (NSC FSI), the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in the Poltava region, Vladyslav Nosenko, visited the university on a working visit and presented the rector of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko with the Citation of the Ombudsman of Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets, for his active cooperation, significant charitable, humanitarian and public activity, a significant contribution to the protection of human and civil rights and citizens of Ukraine as well as on the occasion of Human Rights Day.

National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" became the first institution of higher education to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ombudsman of Ukraine. As part of a working visit to Poltava on May 24, 2023, during the solemn meeting of the Academic Council of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Dmytro Lubinets personally signed this historic document, which opened new horizons for both the university and the Ombudsman’s Office.
It should be recalled that the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights held a working meeting with the heads of state departments of the Poltava Region at the Poltava Polytechnic, the Poltava Polytechnic became a unique platform for the large-scale events of the Ombudsman of Ukraine, and the annual report of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights was presented at the university.
Earlier, the Ombudsman of Ukraine Dmytro Lubinets announced the return of eight illegally deported children.
